iQOO unveiled the iQOO Z10x smartphone in India yesterday. The device comes with the same major and security upgrades as its predecessor. The device is launched with the most-awaited Android 15-based Funtouch OS 15. For software enthusiasts, the question is how many software upgrades the iQOO Z10x will receive.
iQOO Z10x to get 2 Android and 3 years of security updates
iQOO is committed to offering 2 Android upgrades and 3 years of security support to the iQOO Z10x. Furthermore, its predecessor, the iQOO Z9x, also has the same software update policy. The iQOO Z10x is eligible for up to Android 17. The device is also eligible for security updates till 2028.

As a budget smartphone, the iQOO Z10x has a decent software update policy. Also, Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO always provides software updates for their devices on time.

Qualcomm’s midrange chipset, Dimensity 7300, is powering the iQOO 10x. It features a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with 1,050 nits of HBM brightness. The device comes with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. IQOO offers a dual rear camera setup, including a 50MP wide and 8MP depth camera sensor.
